Installation Notes

Professional installation required. Proper clutch system service is critical:

1. Disconnect battery — Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work.

2. Remove the transmission — Safely remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle.

3. Remove the old release bearing — Remove the release fork clips and release the bearing from the fork.

4. Inspect the release fork — Check the fork for wear or damage; replace if necessary.

5. Inspect the clutch components — Check the clutch disc, pressure plate, and flywheel for wear; replace as a set if needed.

6. Clean the bearing housing — Clean the transmission input shaft bearing cover and surrounding area.

7. Prepare the new bearing — Inspect the new bearing and verify it matches the original.

8. Install the new release bearing — Attach the bearing to the release fork and secure with clips.

9. Lubricate contact points — Apply high-temperature grease to the fork pivot and contact points (if specified).

10. Reinstall the transmission — Reinstall the transmission assembly.
