  1. Raise and secure the vehicle – Safely lift the rear axle and support on jack stands
  2. Drain differential oil – Drain the lubricant from the rear axle differential
  3. Remove the differential carrier – Remove the drive shaft, axle shafts, and differential carrier assembly
  4. Remove the old bearing – Carefully remove the old differential bearing using a bearing puller
  5. Clean the differential housing – Thoroughly clean the housing, removing all old lubricant and debris
  6. Inspect the differential components – Check the ring gear, pinion gear, and other bearings for wear
