Installation Guidelines
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Steering system repair must be performed by qualified professional technicians. Always secure the front axle with jack stands before installation.
  • Remove king pin lock pin lock nut (torque: 33±5 N·m)
  • Extract king pin lock pin, remove king pin, and clean all components
  • Install new bushings into steering knuckle
  • Install thrust bearing and adjustment shims, then insert king pin
  • Vertical clearance between knuckle and front axle: 0.02–0.10 mm
  • Clearance between king pin and bushing: 0.020–0.086 mm
  • Tighten lock pin nut to specified torque: 33±5 N·m
  • Apply grease to all lubrication points (NLGI No.1 calcium-base chassis grease recommended)
Maintenance Schedule
  • Inspect king pin bushing clearance and lubrication every 40,000 km or 90 days
