Installation Notes

Professional installation required. Proper clutch system service is critical:

1. Disconnect battery — Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work

2. Remove the transmission — Safely remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle

3. Remove the old release bearing — Remove the release fork clips and release the bearing from the fork

4. Inspect the release fork — Check the fork for wear or damage; replace if necessary

5. Inspect the clutch components — Check the clutch disc, pressure plate, and flywheel for wear; replace as a set if needed

6. Clean the bearing housing — Clean the transmission input shaft bearing cover and surrounding area

7. Inspect the new bearing — Verify the new bearing matches the original in dimensions (70×117×26mm) and specifications

8. Apply grease (if required) — Apply a thin coat of high-temperature grease to the bearing contact surfaces if specified

9. Install the new release bearing — Attach the bearing to the release fork and secure with clips
