Installation Notes

Professional installation recommended. Battery disconnection is essential for safety:

1. Disconnect battery — Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work.

2. Locate the generator — Identify the generator on the engine (typically on the side or front).

3. Disconnect electrical connections — Remove the main battery cable and wiring harness connector from the generator.

4. Remove the drive belt — Loosen and remove the drive belt from the generator pulley.

5. Remove mounting bolts — Unbolt the generator from its mounting bracket.

6. Remove the old generator — Carefully remove the generator from the vehicle.

7. Inspect the drive belt — Check the belt for wear, cracks, or damage; replace if necessary.

8. Inspect wiring connections — Check battery cables and wiring for corrosion or damage.
