Installation Notes

Professional installation recommended. Proper door trim removal is essential:

1. Disconnect battery — Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work (if equipped with power windows).

2. Remove the door trim panel — Carefully remove the door trim panel, armrest, and any covers.

3. Remove the inner water shield — Carefully remove the moisture barrier.

4. Remove the old regulator — Disconnect the regulator from the window glass and door frame.

5. Remove the window glass — Carefully remove the window glass from the door (if necessary).

6. Inspect the door frame — Check the door frame for damage or misalignment.

7. Clean the door interior — Remove any debris or old lubricant from the door cavity.

8. Prepare the new regulator — Inspect the new regulator and verify it matches the original.

9. Install the new regulator — Position the new regulator and secure with mounting bolts.

10. Install the window glass — Reinstall the window glass and connect to the regulator.
