Installation Notes

Professional installation recommended. Proper electrical safety is essential:

1. Disconnect battery — Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work.

2. Locate the camshaft angle sensor — Identify the camshaft position sensor on the engine, typically near the camshaft or valve cover.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector — Carefully unplug the 3-pin wiring harness connector from the sensor.

4. Remove the old sensor — Unbolt and remove the old camshaft position sensor.

5. Inspect the mounting hole — Check the mounting bore for debris, damage, or metal shavings.

6. Clean the mounting area — Clean the mounting surface and surrounding area.

7. Inspect the O-ring/seal — Check the sensor O-ring for damage; replace if necessary.
