Installation Notes

1. Disconnect battery — Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work.

2. Locate the MAP sensor — Identify the MAP sensor on the intake manifold or air intake system.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector — Carefully unplug the wiring harness connector from the sensor.

4. Remove the old sensor — Unbolt and remove the old MAP sensor.

5. Inspect the mounting hole — Check the mounting port for debris, damage, or contamination.

6. Clean the mounting area — Clean the mounting port and surrounding area.

7. Inspect the O-ring/seal — Check the sensor O-ring for damage; replace if necessary.
