Measure liner protrusion above the block deck using a dial indicator and straight edge. Protrusion should be within OE spec (typically 0.05-0.15mm). Adjust with shims if necessary.
Hone the liners to final size (if needed) and to create a cross-hatch pattern.
Clean liners thoroughly – remove honing residue.
Install new pistons and rings, then cylinder head with new head gasket.
