Engine Compatibility: Not engine-specific - fits various engines (4JA1, 4JB1, 4JH1, etc.)

1. Safely lift and support the front of the vehicle. Remove the front wheel
2. Remove the cotter pin and castle nut from the old tie rod end
3. Use a ball joint separator to detach the tie rod end from the steering knuckle
4. Unscrew the tie rod end from the tie rod assembly (count turns for reference)
5. Clean the threads on the tie rod assembly
6. Install the new tie rod end, screwing it on the same number of turns
7. Insert the stud into the steering knuckle, hand-tighten the castle nut
8. Torque the castle nut to manufacturer specification (50-80 Nm)
9. Tighten further if needed to align cotter pin hole - insert new cotter pin
10. Grease the tie rod end using a grease gun
11. Reinstall the wheel and lower the vehicle
12. Perform wheel alignment (toe adjustment) - mandatory after replacement
13. Test drive and check for steering precision
