  2. Remove cooling fan blades from old clutch (bolts or nuts)
  3. Remove old fan clutch from water pump hub (typically left-hand thread - turn clockwise to loosen)
  4. Clean water pump spindle threads
  5. Apply anti-seize to threads if recommended
  6. Install new fan clutch onto water pump and tighten center nut to specification
  7. Reinstall cooling fan blades onto new clutch and torque fan bolts evenly (8-12 Nm)
  8. Reconnect battery
  9. Start engine and check for wobble or noise; listen for clutch engagement as engine warms up
