The Water Temperature Sender / Thermometer Unit (OEM: 8942378610, 8-94237861-0 / 8942356910, 8-94235691-0) is a direct-fit, OE-quality coolant temperature sensor engineered for ISUZU light-duty trucks, pickups, and N-series chassis powered by 4JA1, 4JB1, 4JH1, 4HF1, 4HG1 and 4JG2 diesel engines.

As coolant temperature rises, internal resistance decreases (e.g., ~2.5 kΩ at 20°C, ~0.3 kΩ at 100°C), varying the voltage sent to the factory gauge. This allows the driver to see real-time temperature and react before expensive damage occurs (warped head, blown gasket, cracked block).
